I LOVE CHRISTMAS TIME, this time of year is so dear to me because not only is the 18th of december my 1 year anniversary being married to my wonderful husband, but I grew up in a large family and we have always been pretty close and now that i'm married and out of the house and living far away from the place i call home, it makes going home for Christmas even more joyful then in years past. I can not wait to see my big brother and all my other siblings, I can't wait to see my moms house cause she always did the VERY BEST Christmas decorating i've ever seen, and i cant wait to see good old friends. We might have a more so exiting Christmas then normal because I may be pregnant i have to call the doctor tomorrow to find out for sure but if so we are planing on telling everyone on Christmas day! We thought it would be the best Christmas gift to give the family all though it was not really planned yet. Well anywho we got our first Christmas tree this year and my husband and I put it but together last night, when i was younger my mom and dad had this great tradition that we plan to continue in our own family. Each year they would buy me and my 6 brothers and sisters a Christmas ornament that brought back a good memory from that year, some times it would be funny some times sweet but each year we always knew that we would have a new ornament in our stockings. When i got married last year my mom boxed up all my ornaments and gave them to me to put on my tree and this is the first year i was able to do so. The one thing that is always on my mind this time or year being and army wife is thinking of the men and woman who can't be with there families due to being over seas or stuck on a base some where far from home, these soldiers and there families find this time of year to be a hard one, they know they have a job to do yet all they want is to be home with those they love. So lets keep these HERO'S in our hearts, minds, and prayers this Christmas season after all its because of them and Jesus Christ we even are able to celebrate at all.
I encourage you to maybe sit down with your family and right a letter or send a card or anything maybe even a little gift box of goodies to a soldier fighting over seas after all Christmas is Christmas not mater where you are. If you dont know anyone over seas right now then contact the redcross they do things for soldiers all the time they even have angle trees set up for the soldiers families if you would like to take part in that. Tis the season for giving, Christ gave his son, who gave his life, and gave us a choice to make don't you think its time you give back for a change? And really who is more deserving then those who daily put there life on the line for You?
MARRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
